About DisplayTech
In 2001, I became interested in the LCD panel models used in LCD monitors. After a few years, I was able to organize and publish the collected information into an organized list. I then began collecting information about laptop panel models. The collected information was organized into a separate website, LCDTech. Initially, it was published under the name lcdtech.no-ip.info, and later acquired its own domain, lcdtech.info.
More than 20 years later, LCD panel technology has given way to organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels. Therefore, the time has come to transform the website into DisplayTech, expanding beyond liquid crystal technologies.
Currently, the resource is maintained through a private initiative. At the same time, I would like to thank Oleg Medvedev for his assistance and significant contribution in the early stages of the project's development. Some help also comes from enthusiasts who provide information about the panels installed in monitors, which is carefully hidden by monitor manufacturers. Thank you all very much!
